YOU ARE NOT ALONE

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
(Deuteronomy 31:6, KJV)

Sometimes, it’s easy and natural to get perturbed in life. When we are confronted with unexpected challenges such as job loss, loss of a loved one, marital or parental challenges, etc., it’s normal for us to get distressed and even begin to ask ourselves questions such as, “What did I do wrong?”, “Did I not pray enough?”, “Did I not read my Bible enough?”, “Has God forsaken me?”

In such times, we crave for comfort and answers from all sorts of sources and all sorts of persons. But I came today to encourage you to be of good cheer because you have a great promise to hang your hope on. The promise is that the Lord your God says He will never leave you nor forsake you!

Think about this for a moment…

The Omnipresent, Omnipotent and Omniscient God has promised to be your company through life. Therefore, come what may rest assured that He is with you, and you can say confidently like David did:

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

As you go through your day, stay positive knowing that YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
