CHOOSE YOUR STAND

CHOOSE YOUR STAND Joshua 24:14-15 [14]Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD. [15]And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. I was fortunately born into a Christian home. However, it was when I was a teenager that I took a personal decision to follow and serve the Lord. I have held on to that decision to this day. As young people, we are daily confronted with many options in life. We have the options of following the ways of adulterers, fornicators, occultists, homosexuals, atheists (denouncing the existence of God), or faithfully serving the Lord. YOU ARE NOT ALONE

Think about this for a moment… The Omnipresent, Omnipotent and Omniscient God has promised to be your company through l

Many religious leaders have been known for their profound speeches that have melted hearts. Many have been known for signs and wonders. Many have had large following and have influenced multitudes. However, it is at the point of resurrection from the dead that Jesus widens the gap and is divinely distinguished from the rest. All religious gurus, whether they belonged to the BC or AD eras, pale into insignificance at the sight of Jesus’ empty tomb. Resurrection from the dead is therefore one of the chief doctrines of Christianity and the hope of the believer. Below, I present to you six irrefutable and compelling facts about the resurrection of Jesus, adapted from Josh McDowell’s Evidence for the resurrection. 1. THE EMPTY TOMB The disciples of Christ did not go off to Athens or Rome to preach that Christ was raised from the dead. Rather, they went right back to the city of Jerusalem, where, if what they were teaching was false, the falsity would be evident. The empty tomb was
